Olivier Donatien Rey (birth 1964 in Nantes[1]), is a French philosopher of science.[2]
Works
The majority of his works focus on the place of science in modern and contemporary society.[3] He is currently affiliated to the Institut d'histoire et de philosophie des sciences et des techniques (IHPST) a mixed research unit between the University Paris-1-Sorbonne and the CNRS. He published books on the emergence of statistics[4] and on the ethical and scientific implications of transhumanism.[5]
