We've finally won in Miami at the fifth attempt, I think. We've had a bronze here before and missed out on a medal here twice, so to finally win is fantastic. For me I guess it's quite a big deal this is where I was in rehab after my accident like means a lot to me there was one of the first but I tried abstract with hair you know that person standing a weeks probably so I get an hour not by dumping its my point's been also this is the first and then we can I start a partnership in 2008 you know qualifying Beijing so that's why I loaded a van in a lot of ways you need a lot president finally come away with the win you know a plea that's all there is to be the first many it's been a good week for us you know 10 near Boulder County the BF today airports a blemish the the straight wins are the four after hitting an ACA but the most important thing is we know I there is a weaknesses which weekend work on and we also know that we still have some strengths which is pretty good because it not to much racing recently so still have nice boat speed is them idea kind of a relief that finally start new cycle this is the fact that they are kinda star Mario campaign and you can start with the with somewhere where you'd difficulty we're gonna train was from the votes that word in the event with and trying it quicker and better starting to the stars have been absolutely awful week so we need to make sure we're better at that from the world's in August you know the day the one that's missing now is purely real gold so you know that that the big focus for us thanks to appears just to get better is the goal at the moment just to try to improve get better and then hopefully by RIA look after itself but don't wanna make obvious that I is the ultimate goal but if you think about all this tree is whether there's no by get out but is there like
Sailing
Birrell, who was born with cerebral palsy, began sailing at a young age after being introduced to the hobby by his father. He and his brother Christian became a competing pair and in 2002 they were selected for the British team in the 420 class.[1]
Birrell competed in the 2008 Paralympic Sailing Competition in the SKUD 18 two person keelboat class alongside teammate Alexandra Rickham, where he finished fifth. Between 2009 and 2011 Birrell and Rickham have won four IFDS World Championship titles.
Birrell was selected to represent Great Britain at the 2012 Summer Paralympics held in London, United Kingdom.[2] He competed in the SKUD 2-person keelboat event with Rickham, for which they took the bronze medal.[3]
