Welcome Thespians! This is the largest national festival for high school and middle school theater students in the nation. <music> It is a week long celebration of high school theater. It's shows, it's workshops, it's all kinds of theater related activities. We have a really great relationship with UNL. Terrific staff to work with. And we work very closely with the housing people as well to house and feed our delegates while they're on campus, to get us workshop space and so forth. I really like the campus. It's just an amazing, beautiful campus. And there's a lot to do around here. The dining halls are great. The campus is beautiful. The dorms are great. They're big, they're wide. It has enough space for you and the beds are really comfortable. <group> Awesome food, great dorms, wonderful hospitality. As an adult it's been very comfortable and I'm also part o the security team so I've had a chance to see all the parts of the buildings and really appreciate the work that they do and the way that they take care of the facilities and they've been really, really easy to go to if you have any questions or problems. Planning an event is a whole lot of customer service and they hit it every single time. <desk clerk> Here's your room key... We really do get a customer service, a positive customer service attitude from the people we work with, everybody on campus. When you say "hi" they all say "hi" to you and they all smile. It's all friendly. You won't find a better team of people to help put on an event. They are incredibly organized, they are flexible, they are easy to work with. We love them, and they treat us very, very well. <music> They love coming to the University of Nebraska. We hold our camp here, this is our 17th year here on campus. The facilities directors and staff are really great to work with and organize with. They'll bend over backwards for you to get everything you need and make everything runs smoothly. It's just a really good experience for them. I like how it's all close together. My rooms are really nice and big, clean. They're comfortable to live in. Food's great! It's good. Alot of it's homemade, so that's really good. I really like the pizza. Good food, lots of friends. It's a really good experience, I would say everybody should try it. We pretty much used every single facility on campus. From the residence halls to the competitive facilies, not only were the athletes completely enthralled with what was available to them, everybody walked away happy and wishing they could stay longer. We've never had a successful event in terms of housing and food for athletes and for coaches. They all walked away when the week was over wishing that they could stay for another two weeks. So that's the best possible recommendation I can give. <music> "America, America..." We need places that can hold almost 500 people every day. And the univeristy is able to provide those venues for us. The university is a great place for a big event like this. We're able to be on campus get the kids exposed to what it's like to possibly go to school here. And it's just an outstanding partnership. Our relationship with the university in particular makes it just seemless. We have virtually use of the entire campus. The staff is really friendly and it makes me feel like I'm at home. Lincoln's a great place because it's a large city but it still has the small-town feel. Lincoln offers so many opportunities everything around the university is so close, everything is within walking distance. Having our event here on the university is very cost effective for us. Our per person prices are really low. It meets our budget every year. Everyone here is so friendy and so accomodating that you feel like you want to come back. <group chant> "everybody..." We've been at UNL for 17 years now. There's a reason we come back, that's because we think we get a great deal. We're treated well and we like it here. It's perfect, I couldn't ask for anything different. Service is impeccable. The facilities are really easy to work with and the food is great. And the dorms are clean and comfortable, and it's just an all around win-win for us. I would strongly recommend using the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's Conference Services Department to help plan your event any day of the year. Not only are they dedicated and really fun to work with, they are a talented and professional group that will make sure that your event goes off without a hitch. I would highly recommend it. As a matter of fact, I wouldn't go anywhere else.
