The story unfolds with loyalty and rising tension, showing Mureed's journey after a life-changing tragedy. The drama explores family dynamics, revealing hidden truths that cause resentment. Past and present events collide, creating a tale of loyalty tested by growing bitterness.

Cast

Production

The series marked the second collaboration of Khan and Ashraf after Raqs-e-Bismil. In July, it confirmed that the couple will appear in a Hum TV's production.[8] The teasers of the series were released in mid October.[9][10] The first episode broadcast on 3 November 2023 on Hum TV.[11]

Reception

Dawn found, "This is standard soap opera with little nuance but, like all commercial projects, the situations and dilemmas resonate with the masses. A well-paced plot and good direction keep the story moving at a pace that does not require too much analysis or thinking. For those who enjoy stories about domestic abuse and kitchen politics, this is for you."[12] A positive appraisal was published in Youlin Magazine[13] and PakistaniCinema.net.[14]
