Musalan (Persian: موسالان)[a] is a village in, and the capital of, Gavork-e Nalin Rural District of the Central District of Mirabad County, West Azerbaijan province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 572 in 85 households, when it was in the former Vazineh District of Sardasht County.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 680 people in 126 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 611 people in 141 households.[2]

In 2022, the district was separated from the county in the establishment of Mirabad County, which was divided into two districts and two rural districts, with Mirabad as its capital and only city.[4]
