Michael William Fanning (born April 4, 1967) is an American politician. He is a member of the South Carolina Senate from the 17th District, serving since 2016.[1] He is a member of the Democratic party.[2]
In March 2024, several Republicans filed challenges to the Senate seat held by Fanning, including businessmen Tripp McCoy[3] and Tibi Czentye.[4]
