Mendatica (Ligurian: Mendaiga or Mendéga[3]) is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Imperia in the Italian region Liguria, located about 100 kilometres (62 mi) southwest of Genoa and about 30 kilometres (19 mi) northwest of Imperia.

Mendatica borders the following municipalities: Briga Alta, Cosio di Arroscia, Montegrosso Pian Latte, and Triora.
