Mehr Gerd (Persian: مهرگرد, also Romanized as Mehr Gard)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Darreh Shur Rural District of Vardasht District, Semirom County, Isfahan province, Iran.[4]
At the 2006 National Census, its population was 757 in 172 households, when it was in Vardasht Rural District of the Central District.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 856 people in 198 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 1,020 people in 304 households, by which time the rural district had been separated from the district in the establishment of Vardasht District.[7] Mehr Gerd was the most populous village in its rural district.[2]
