Marika Nakamura (中村 真梨花, Nakamura Marika, born May 20, 1987) is a Japanese women's professional shogi player ranked 4-dan.[1]

Titles and other championships

Nakamura has appeared in women's major title match three times, but has yet to win a major title. She was the challenger for the 17th Kurashiki Tōka Cup [ja] title in 2009, the 34th Women's Ōshō [ja] title in 2012 and the 40th Women's Meijin title in 2013.[3]

Personal life

Nakamura is married to professional shogi player Shōta Chida. The pair got married in September 2024.[4][5]
