Mamoon Moosa Khan (born 28 November 2000) is a Pakistani professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for Pakistan Air Force and the Pakistan national team.[1]

Club career

POPO FC

Khan started his career at Islamabad club POPO FC, having previously played for the team's youth academy.[1]

Pakistan Air Force

Khan was subsequently called by Pakistan Premier League departmental side Pakistan Air Force in 2021. He made 2 appearances in the 2021–22 season until the league was cancelled shortly after starting.[1] He also played simultaneously for POPO FC in 2023, until again returning to the side for the 2023–24 PFF National Challenge Cup.

International career

Khan was first selected as vice-captain of the Pakistan under 19 team for the 2020 AFC U-19 Championship qualification. Khan received his first senior international call-up for a friendly against Nepal on 16 November 2022.[2] He went on to make his debut in the eventual 0–1 defeat.[1] He was subsequently called for the 2023 Mauritius Four Nations Cup and the 2023 SAFF Championship in India.[3][4][5] In October 2023 he represented Pakistan U23 in AFC U23 Asian Cup Qualifiers.[6]
