Malachi Kirby is an English actor known for his roles in Roots and Black Mirror (both 2016).[1]

Career

Kirby starred as Kunta Kinte in the 2016 version of Roots.[2][3] His performance was well received by critics.[4][5]

Kirby was shortlisted for the "Outstanding Newcomer" award at the 2011 Evening Standard Theatre Awards.[6]

In October 2016, Kirby starred in an episode of the anthology series Black Mirror entitled "Men Against Fire", directed by Jakob Verbruggen.[7][8]
