Maharagni: Queen of Queens is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Charan Tej Uppalapati in his directorial debut. It stars Kajol in the title role, along with Prabhu Deva, Naseeruddin Shah, Samyuktha Menon, and Jisshu Sengupta.[2] It also stars Aditya Seal, Pramod Pathak, and Chhaya Kadam. It will also be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam.

The action thriller film reunites Kajol and Prabhu Deva after nearly 3 decades, last seen together in Rajiv Menon’s Minsara Kanavu (1997), that was dubbed and released in Hindi as Sapnay.[3] The film marks a comeback to acting for Prabhu Deva after several directorial ventures. The film's first schedule is complete and the official teaser was released on 28 May 2024. [4]

Plot

The film is a revenge drama about Maya (Kajol), a woman on a vengeful mission. [5] The film sees Kajol in a never-before-seen action avatar and has a tagline 'POWER MAANGE KE NAHI, CHEEN KE LEE JAATI HAI' meaning "Power is not demanded, it is taken away." [6] [7]
