To reduce packaging, certain Samsung TVs
are shipped without the stand attached.
Follow these steps to attach the
provided plastic stand to your Samsung TV.
There are two types of plastic stands;
an oval-shaped stand, and a rectangular stand.
The following steps will work for both.
First, distinguish the different sides of
the stand where it will attach to the TV.
The neck of the stand sits close
the edge of the back of the TV.
Now take the guide stand and
place it onto the neck of the stand.
To properly place the guide stand on,
locate the slot on the back
of the neck of the stand and with the guide stand titled back,
latch the tab into the slot and push the guide stand down.
In this example, the front of the guide
stand is facing away from the camera.
Now locate the four holes on the guide stand.
Then insert the longest supplied screws into the four holes
and use a Phillips head screwdriver to tighten them.
Now that the guide stand is attached to the neck,
you can prepare your television for attachment.
Start by placing a very soft, non-abrasive cloth
over a flat table to protect your TV's screen.
Then with the help of your assistant,
carefully place the TV face-down on the soft cloth.
Now locate the two slots on the inside
and two tabs on the top of the guide stand.
You will use these to guide
the stand onto your television.
Slowly slide the guide stand onto the TV, making sure the tabs and
the slots on the TV line up with the tabs and slots on the guide stand.
If positioned correctly,
the stand will lie flat against the TV.
To finish, have your assistant support the stand
and you will then locate the remaining four holes.
Insert the four remaining short screws and use your
Phillips head screwdriver to secure them tightly into place.
Now move the TV into place.
