Lia Radoslavova Karatantcheva (Bulgarian: Лия Радославова Каратанчева; born 8 August 1989) is a Bulgarian tennis player.

Karatantcheva has a career high WTA singles ranking of 457 achieved on 23 October 2023. She also has a career high WTA doubles ranking of 271 achieved on 16 October 2023.[1]

Karatancheva took part in the Bulgaria for the first time in 2023.[2] Playing for Bulgaria, Karatancheva has a win–loss record of 10–5.[3]

In March 2024, Karatancheva played the doubles final in Santo Domingo.[4]

Personal life

She is the daughter of former rower and member of parliament as part of the Bulgarian Business Bloc, Radoslav Karatantchev.[5][6]

She has three sisters one of whom, Gabriel Karatantcheva, was active as a professional tennis player from 2014 to 2017.[7] Older sister Sesil and younger sister Alexa, are also tennis players.
