Lewis Davey (born 24 October 2000) is a British athlete who competes in the 400 metres.

Personal life

Davey attended The Priory Ruskin Academy in Lincolnshire.[1]

Career

As a young athlete Davey would compete as a decathlete.[2] By 2021, Davey was a member of the British 4 × 400 m relay squad at the 2021 European Athletics U23 Championships.[3]

He was a member of the British relay team that ran in the 2022 European Athletics Championships – Men's 4 × 400 metres relay, winning gold in Munich.[4]

He was selected for the 2023 World Athletics Championships in Budapest in August 2023 and competed in the mixed 4 × 400 m relay. He won a silver medal as the British team set a new national record time of 3:11.06.[5]

In April 2024, he was selected as part of the British team for the 2024 World Athletics Relays in Nassau, Bahamas.[6]
