Kazuo Ikehiro (池広一夫, Ikehiro Kazuo, born October 25, 1929 in Tokyo) is a Japanese film director.[1][2][3] He is known for directing Zatoichi series [4] and the highly acclaimed Malay film Onna Gokuakuchō.

In 1950, he joined the Daiei Film and started working as an assistant director under Kenji Mizoguchi etc.[1] In 1960, he was promoted to director and debuted with Bara Daimyo.[1]
