Kalininsky District (Russian: Кали́нинский райо́н) is an administrative district (raion), one of the thirty-eight in Krasnodar Krai, Russia.[1] As a municipal division, it is incorporated as Kalininsky Municipal District.[5] It is located in the west of the krai. The area of the district is 1,499 square kilometers (579 sq mi).[2] Its administrative center is the rural locality (a stanitsa) of Kalininskaya.[1] Population: 50,691 (2010 Census);[3] 50,161 (2002 Census);[7] 45,111 (1989 Census).[8] The population of Kalininskaya accounts for 26.4% of the district's total population.[3]
