Kahurestan District (Persian: بخش کهورستان) is in Khamir County, Hormozgan province, Iran. Its capital is the village of Kahurestan,[2] whose population at the 2016 National Census was 3,418 in 1,036 households.[3][a]

After the census, Kahurestan Rural District was separated from the Central District in the establishment of Kahurestan District, which included the newly formed Latidan Rural District. In addition, Keshar Rural District was established in the Central District.[2]
