[MUSIC PLAYING] JULIAN DORIO: This is from 2012, The Whigs, to the beginning of The Whigs, which is 2002, or something. I don't know. Dear The Whigs, congratulations. You're still playing music, but we have a few things to tell you. PARKER GISPERT: Uh-oh. JULIAN DORIO: Parker? PARKER GISPERT: Yes. JULIAN DORIO: Watch out for that yellow cement pole at the gas station in Mississippi. PARKER GISPERT: Oh, I forgot about that. JULIAN DORIO: You're going to reverse the van directly into it. PARKER GISPERT: Dangit! JULIAN DORIO: Julian, when you're getting your suitcase out of the trailer in Charlottesville, Tim and Parker are going to start driving away. PARKER GISPERT: Oh, yeah. JULIAN DORIO: And you and the equipment will start sliding out onto the street. PARKER GISPERT: Yes, that was fun, too. JULIAN DORIO: Julian, also, you may be convinced by your band members to sing a little bit on the third album. PARKER GISPERT: Oh, yeah. JULIAN DORIO: Nobody wants to hear that. PARKER GISPERT: I thought you did a great job. And even right now, your voice has a really nice timbre. JULIAN DORIO: Nice timbre, yeah. PARKER GISPERT: Yeah. JULIAN DORIO: Keep playing the drums. One last thing, Parker. Try not to leave your laptop on the plane in Europe. It will be sent to Vienna, then Frankfurt, and then London before you see it again. PARKER GISPERT: Yes. JULIAN DORIO: Lastly, Google will call and ask you to play their event at Sundance. PARKER GISPERT: Ooh. JULIAN DORIO: Say yes. PARKER GISPERT: OK. JULIAN DORIO: The venue may or may not be a parking garage. PARKER GISPERT: Oh. JULIAN DORIO: Your friends, The Whigs. [MUSIC - THE WHIGS, 'STAYING ALIVE"]
