Jhon Adolfo Arias Andrade (born 21 September 1997) is a Colombian professional footballer who plays as winger or attacking midfielder for Campeonato Brasileiro Série A club Fluminense and the Colombia national team.

Arias began his youth career with Mexican clubs Dorados de Sinaloa and Tijuana. In 2017, he returned to Colombia to join Patriotas Boyacá and was loaned to Llaneros for the 2018 season. On 10 December 2019, he signed with América de Cali, winning the Categoría Primera A in 2020. On 7 January 2021, he transferred to Independiente Santa Fe. Arias ventured abroad for the first time on 18 August 2021, signing a four-year deal with Campeonato Brasileiro Série A team Fluminese. He was instrumental in the squad that secured the club’s first Copa Libertadores title by defeating Boca Juniors 2–1 in the final.

Club career

Born in Quibdó, Arias represented Mexican sides Dorados de Sinaloa and Tijuana as a youth. He returned to his home country in 2017 and signed for Patriotas Boyacá, before moving out on loan to Llaneros for the 2018 season.[2]

Upon returning to Patriotas, Arias was regularly used during the 2019 campaign before signing a contract with América de Cali on 10 December of that year.[3] On 7 January 2021, he joined Independiente Santa Fe.[4]

On 18 August 2021, Arias moved abroad for the first time in his career, after agreeing to a four-year contract with Campeonato Brasileiro Série A side Fluminense,[5] being part of the squad that won the club's first ever Copa Libertadores by beating Boca Juniors 2–1 in the final.[6]
