Veronica Merrell and Vanessa Merrell (born August 6, 1996), known as the Merrell Twins, are identical twin American YouTubers, actresses, comedians, singers, and songwriters.

Personal

Veronica and Vanessa are identical twin sisters born in Kansas City, Missouri on August 6, 1996.[1] They grew up in Kansas City before moving to Los Angeles, California, at the age of 16 to pursue a career in acting.[1][2] They currently attend college as juniors (graduating class of 2019) at the University of Southern California. Veronica majors in screenwriting, and Vanessa majors in film production.[2] They both have nicknames, Veronica is Roni and Vanessa is Nessa.

Career

The Merrell twins started making YouTube videos in 2009.[3] Their videos are produced and edited by their father, Paul Merrell.[2] They have appeared in several AwesomenessTV videos and had recurring roles on the show Jane the Virgin.[2] They appeared in the 2016 film The Standoff. At the 8th Shorty Awards, they won for YouNower of the Year.[4] They won a Streamy Award for Best Live in 2016, and were nominated for a Teen Choice Award 2017 for Choice Female Web Star.
