Jerome "JC" Latham (born February 8, 2003) is an American football offensive tackle for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football for the Alabama Crimson Tide and was selected seventh overall by the Titans in the 2024 NFL draft.

Early life

Latham was born on February 8, 2003, in Mississippi and grew up in Oak Creek, Wisconsin.[1][2][3] He originally attended Catholic Memorial High School in Waukesha, Wisconsin, before transferring to IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.[4][5][6] He played offensive tackle and defensive end in high school.[7] He was selected to play in the 2020 Under Armour All-America Game. A five star recruit, Latham committed to the University of Alabama to play college football.[8][9]

College career

Latham played in 14 games as a backup in his true freshman year at Alabama in 2021. In 2022, he became the team's starting right tackle.[10] He declared for the 2024 NFL draft following the 2023 season.[11]

Latham was selected by the Tennessee Titans seventh overall in the 2024 NFL draft.[14]

Personal life

Latham has the nickname of "Trench King", inspired by Deion Sanders' "Prime Time".[15]
