IC 2734 is a type SBc[1] barred spiral galaxy seen edge-on, and located in the constellation Leo. Its redshift is 0.078901, which corresponds IC 2734 to be located 1.09 billion light-years from Earth.[2] The galaxy has an apparent dimension of 0.60 x 0.2 arcmin, meaning it is approximately 190,000 light-years across.[3] IC 2734 was discovered on March 27, 1906, by astronomer, Max Wolf.[4][5]
