"..that this would be a really bad disastor but what happens if you dig too deep and you saw lava?" [acoustic guitar music track; children noise, music fades] "My name's Dallas and this is George and we're both working on building this job. Where you're standing right now is will what be where the train lines go down underneath this train line on the right hand side, down to Seaford. OK?! We're building this, this project so that the train lines through here can come and they don't have to stop and wait for the passenger lines. So what that means just for you guys is the trains when they come down the hill won't be braking as much and they won't have to stop to allow the passenger lines to go through and you won't have the, the boom gates, or the flashing lights going as much; and also through this area which was an old train, reasonably old train line uhm... it got a bit bumpy and a bit out of scue that we're all replacing that, so it's smoother and you won't hear, you would have heard the trains squealing, uhmm... ["Yes. Absolutely"] and also when they start going up the hill then they don't have to start and stop so you don't get that big, heavy diesel thumping noise." [noise of goods train passing by] "Yep?" "Will there be new train stops?" "Ah... there'll be, there will be one new train stop at Wayville but that's replacing the current one at Keswick. Okay? So that's gonna be right near the Showgrounds so when at Showtime you can come and park and then get straight into the Showgrounds. ... we're also electrifying the passenger lines through here so when they go into the dip here they won't be as noisy as the old diesels um... but also the noise that it does create... the walls will keep some of that noise away." "I don't really get how the cars are gonna be able to get through. How does that work?.." "So, so what we're doing is we're building a bridge across at Victoria Street so the cars can then go over the top and the trains will go underneath." "Why don't you make it be the Underground like in London?" "Uhm... good, question. Uhm... instead of a hundred and ten million this would be a hundred and ten billion." "Ah..., well have you found any like... I know that this would be a really bad disastor but what happens if you dig too deep and you saw lava?" ["I think I saw lava!"] "We'd have to dig a lot deeper than we're thinking... lava's about a kilometre down. OK? We're only digging roughly seven metres, OK?" "So we're not goin' to hit lava." "No, that's right." [goods train horn sounds, music track resumes, finishes]
