Hormozabad (Persian: هرمزاباد, also Romanized as Hormozābād; also known as Hormoz and Hormuz)[3] is a village in, and the capital of, Eslamiyeh Rural District of the Central District of Rafsanjan County, Kerman province, Iran.[4]

At the 2006 National Census, its population was 2,302 in 543 households.[5] The following census in 2011 counted 2,750 people in 745 households.[6] The latest census in 2016 showed a population of 2,665 people in 784 households.[2]
