Early life

Harun was born to Qudratullah Mollah. Qudratullah served as the president of Mirpur union parishad for 27 years straight.[1]

Career

Mollah was initially involved with Awami League politics and was elected chairman of Mirpur municipality many times. He vied for the Awami League nomination from Dhaka-11 but it was given to Kamal Hossain instead. Due to this he contested the elections as a Bangladesh Nationalist Party candidate. Mollah was elected to parliament from Dhaka-11 as a BNP candidate in 1991.[2]

Death

Mollah died in November 1992.[3]
