Habropetalum is a genus of flowering plants belonging to the family Dioncophyllaceae.[1]

Its native range is Western Tropical Africa, primarily Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.[1] Its most noteworthy feature is its seed which develops outside of the fruit and is shaped like a spiral galaxy. Including the circular wing, it is up to four inches (ten centimeters) wide.[2]
