The final of the women's artistic team all-around competition at the 2012 Summer Olympics was held at the North Greenwich Arena, London on 31 July 2012. Eight teams of five gymnasts competed in the final from a total of twelve teams that qualified for the Games. The total number of team members had changed since the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing from 6 members down to only 5 in 2012.

Teams qualified for the final through the general artistic qualification performances on 29 July 2012. Each team was composed of five gymnasts. The eight teams with the best combined scores in the qualification moved on to the team final. In the team final, each team selected three gymnasts to compete on each apparatus. All three scores counted for the team score. The three scores on each apparatus were summed to give a final team score.

The United States team, known as the Fierce Five, finished first in qualifications and then won the gold medal in the event final. Russia won the silver, and Romania won the bronze. It was Romania's 10th consecutive Olympic medal in this event in a streak that started in 1976; they have not won an Olympic team all-around medal since.
