Gais railway station (German: Bahnhof Gais) is a railway station in the municipality of Gais, in the Swiss canton of Appenzell Ausserrhoden. It is located at the junction of the 1,000 mm (3 ft 3+38 in) metre gauge Appenzell–St. Gallen–Trogen and Altstätten–Gais lines of Appenzell Railways.[1]

Services

As of the December 2020 timetable change, the following services stop at Gais:[3][4]

Scheduled transfers between the S21 and S24 enable hourly service from Altstätten Stadt to Appenzell and St. Gallen and vice versa.
