Florida Politics

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Florida Politics is a news site for politics in the state of Florida. It is operated by Peter Schorsch, who opened the site in 2013 and employs 17 freelance journalists. The site broke the news of the FBI search of Mar-a-Lago.[1]

Pete Schorsch and other critics have described the site as operating a form of pay to play, giving favorable coverage in exchange for advertising dollars. Schorsch has called it "combination journalism". It also received money from Florida Power & Light via their lobbying firm, Matrix LLC.[2][3][4]
