Description
Since 1914, the Hippodrome in Waco, Texas has been known to host a wide variety of high-quality Broadway-style acts and entertainment such as silent films, vaudeville shows, and traveling performers. The theater was designated a Recorded Texas Historic Landmark in 1981 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places on April 28, 1983.
