Embarquement sur les navires, début juin 1944 - Operation Overlord.
En premier plan un LCT (Mark 6) www.6juin1944.com/assaut/amphib.php?id=9 avec la passerelle (la catwalk) relevée la remorque (à chenilles) visible est une Trailer Athey Track Laying 6Ton BT898-4 chargée de fascines (lattes de bois) anti-ensablement pour le débarquement sur les plages. 69.5.4.225/idphoto/id_photos_athey_tracked_trailer.php voir ici à Utah: www.flickr.com/search/?w=58897785@N00&q=Trailer%20Ath... A coté un autre LCT(Mark 6) présence de 4 grues à bras de levage en treillis (de type grue à chenille) 2 sont présentes sur le quai. Au fond des véhicules (jeeps et remorques) de la 1st US ID et un bouteur type D-7 Caterpillar ainsi que de nombreux GI's attendent pour l'embarquement. Trois marins de l'US Navy portent le " white hat ". Ici nous sommes sur le quai "H", quai "J" le panneau est visible à l'extrême droite, en arrière plan des citernes, le groupe d'hommes sur la partie avant du LCT est visible sur la photo p013200. www.flickr.com/search/?w=58897785@N00&q=p013200%20or%...
