Summary

Description Publicity photo of Union Pacific steam driven electric turbine engines. From the description, these appear to be the 2 General Electric built engines the company ordered in 1938, received in 1939 and returned to GE as unsatisfactory in the year received. It is believed on receiving the engines back, GE dismantled them.
