A cette occasion, le chef étoilé Alain Passard, associé à cette opération promotionnelle axée sur le développement durable et les énergies renouvelables, présente un très beau jardin potager sur le toit du palais de Tokyo.

C'est une opportunité pour monter sur les toits qui sont habituellement inaccessibles au public et bénéficier en plus d'un petit exposé de jeunes jardiniers très compétents ; l'intérêt pour l'art contemporain n'est pas incompatible avec le jardinage !

Signe d'un temps de crise, les visiteurs de ce week-end d'avril auront compris que le Palais de Tokyo a besoin de crédits, comme le musée Rodin (qui loue son jardin à de grandes marques mais pas pour y planter des légumes) ou d'autres grands musées parisiens, il doit absolument compléter ses recettes courantes par des locations d'espaces et du mécénat.
