The United States Navycargo ship at Rotterdam in the Netherlands. (The U.S. Navy History and Heritage Command and NavSource.org both misidentify the 5-3-1919 date on the photo as 3 May 1919, but Eastern Light was in out of commission in the United States by then; the 5-3-1919 date on the photo actually is for 5 March 1919, the date she arrived at Rotterdam while in commission.)
This media file is in the public domain in the United States. This applies to U.S. works where the copyright has expired, often because its first publication occurred prior to January 1, 1929, and if not then due to lack of notice or renewal. See this page for further explanation.
