Summary
| Description |
Toll house, Middlestown, Sitlington. This is aligned with the original route of the turnpike road, along Sandy Lane, although no doubt it was also used for the new line, the present A642, still called New Road. The viaduct carried the now closed Midland Railway line between Dewsbury and Royston Junction. |
