EASTICK, COMMANDING OFFICER, KUCHING FORCE, ON THE OCCASION OF THE FORMAL SIGNING OF THE JAPANESE SURRENDER. IN THE RIGHT BACKGROUND IS LIEUTENANT A. J. FORD RANR, COMMANDING OFFICER OF THE KAPUNDA. AT THE EXTREME LEFT A PERSON IS EITHER BROADCASTING OR MAKING A RECORDING OF THE PROCEEDINGS. (NAVAL HISTORICAL COLLECTION).
