Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8)	Photographic image that supports the discussion of what Delta Delta Delta's member badge looks like.
Not replaceable with free media because (WP:NFCC#1)	The image is not categorically free, and no alternatives that were specifically noted as public domain could be found. No free illustrations were observed which rendered the image design in color.
Minimal use (WP:NFCC#3)	I cropped and color-corrected the original image, then reduced it by an additional 40%.
Respect for commercial opportunities (WP:NFCC#2)	The pin has been mass-produced for over 130 years, with photographs distributed widely. Yet the majority of these photos are of low quality, with poor contrast. Line drawings exist that omit colors and cannot show the various sheens. A few commercial sites exhibit watermarked, high-resolution photos of the same, but respecting their authorship I chose an image that had much lower resolution where my even-lower resolution reproduction would certainly not cause economic hardship for that owner, an Ebay seller. There is a a very slim possibility it may increase the owner's commercial opportunities, because I cannot hide their original usage, but promotion of them is not my intent. I have no connection with this seller.
Other information	The photo may be original artwork by the Ebay seller, or may be copied from another user. The pin itself was mass produced, and is a work of art that was first created in circa 1888.
