Purpose of use in article (WP:NFCC#8)	Show Eißmann's painting style and choice of subject matter for readers from around the world who may be unfamiliar with the German artist's work. This in turn should allow them to evaluate for themselves the scholarly and critical comments in the text about her artwork, such as whether it shows the influence of Peter Jackson's films, and to decide how far her style is suitable for Middle-earth themes and whether it captures the emotional content of Tolkien's writing.

Eißmann's painting and the cited text support each other, so the image cannot be described as "decorative". It is the only image in the 'From fan art to recognised artistry' section, so it is not part of a "gallery".
