Summary

Description

I love this sculpture called 'The Horses Of Helios' which is located on the corner of Piccadilly Circus and Haymarket in London.

Last time I visited here it was night time and I got a pretty good shot of it however it was exceptionally busy (as Piccadilly Circus tends to be in the evening) and I couldn't get the shot that I wanted.

Turning up here at silly-o-clock in the mornig was the ideal scenario for getting the shot that I originally wanted.

Here's the photograph I took during my earlier visit to London in 2010 :-

POST PROCESSING - The only thing that needed amending here was the fountains so I chose one of the original RAW files which had the most movement in the water and masked it into the Photomatix result.

I then ran It through Topaz Adjust to give the repaired parts a bit of a boost.

Finally I added blur to the corners to give a little more interest and drama to these areas and add focus to the powerful main subject matter in the photo.
