A soldier of the Darwin-based 5/7th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment, conducts fire and movement during a training activity in the Shoalwater Bay Training Area.
More than 3000 Darwin based soldiers of the 1st Brigade are participating in Exercise Tandem Thrust 01 during the month of May.
More than 27,000 Australian, United States and Canadian personnel are taking part in the exercise, which is the largest of its kind held in Australia in recent years.
