Alternative Version

I have found a study that found trends in synesthetic grapheme > colour associations. I have recoloured the original graphic to match the findings of the study, so that the word "synesthesia" would be a better example of the phenomenon in general. It still needs to be redone as an svg (I would have done this myself if I knew how). Also, if the community considers some of the colours to be too light, please don't use this; it is better to have a less representative image that is easier to read than it is to have one that demonstrates trends more accurately.

Edited in GIMP from the original.
