Description "Fig. 9. Königskrone von Bayern. Diese Krone besitzt die übliche Form der Königskronen, nur sind die Bügel nicht mit Perlen, sondern mit Edelsteinen geschmückt. Die Krone von Bayern wurde zu Beginn dieses Jahrhunderts [Anm. 19. Jhdt.] durch Vermittlung des Hofjuweliers Borgnis in Frankfurt a. M. in derselben Pariser Werkstätte entworfen und angefertigt, aus welcher auch die Kroninsignien Napoleons I. hervorgingen. Sie wird in der Schatzkammer der Residenz zu München aufbewahrt."
