| Description |
Stealth at Thorpe Park. This is Stealth, the latest thrill rollercoaster at Thorpe Park, taken on its first weekend open to the public. This coaster catapults the train from 0 to 80mph in 2.3 seconds giving just enough velocity to reach the peak of the 205 foot top-hat. The view from the top of the rest of the park is stunning but you have less than a second to enjoy it before you hurtle vertically down leveling out and into another zero gravity bunny hop before coming to an end. The ride lasts approximately 12 seconds but believe me that's an intense 12 seconds not easily forgotten, from the extreme acceleration of the launch to the final braking off the bunny hop! |
