Description North Downs Way, St Martha's Hill, an anciently volcanic knoll in the north downs, looking west along the lower then equal height escarpment towards the Clandon, Effingham and Horsley Woods above Albury, Shere and Abinger parishes to the right. This line of sight is followed by the Pilgrims' Way also known as the North Downs Way.
