Sherman Indian School in Riverside, ca.1910
Photograph of Sherman Indian School in Riverside, ca.1910. The school is comprised of many buildings that surround a very large courtyard (foreground). The courtyard is decorated with a variety of plants, flowers and trees. Beyond the courtyard, are three buildings connected by arcade-like corridors. All three buildings have similar features such as two dome-capped towers flanking the multicurved gables, arched windows in the tower, and extended eaves.
