File:SevresTreaty.png

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Original file(1,994 × 1,260 pixels, file size: 128 KB, MIME type: image/png)

This historical map image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.

It is recommended to name the SVG file “SevresTreaty.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.

Summary

Description
The 1920 Treaty of Sèvres was a draft treaty between the Ottoman Empire and the Principal Allied Powers. It was ultimately shelved because of Turkish non-ratification and was replaced by the Treaty of Lausanne.
Date
Source Own work. This map is based on several maps published with the text of The Treaty of Peace between the Allied and Associated Powers and Turkey August 10, 1920 in the treaty series Treaties of Peace (1924). Certain points were checked against the text of the treaty.
