Salvia libanotica or East Mediterranean sage is a type of sage commonly found in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East. It is also known as sage apple, Khokh barri, and Na’ama Hobeiq’es-sedr. Taxonomic synonyms include: Salvia fruticosa Mill., Salvia triloba L.f., S. triloba L.f ssp. cypria, and S. triloba L.f. ssp. libanotica.
