These false color images show the sun's atmospheres at a range of different temperatures. Clockwise from top left: 1 million degrees C (171 Å), 1.5 million °C (195 Å), 60,000 - 80,000 °C (304 Å), and 2.5 million °C (286 Å).

Polski: Mozaika pierwszych zdjęć Słońca wykonanych przez sondę STEREO-A 4 grudnia 2006 r. Wykonał je teleskop SECCHI/EUI w zakresie ultrafioletu. Przedstawiają emisję fal elektromagnetycznych różnych długości przez atmosferę Słońca (kolory fałszywe). Zgodnie z ruchem wskazówek zegara, od lewego górnego rogu: 171 Å (odpowiednik temp. 1 mln °C), 195 Å (1,5 mln. °C), 304 Å (60 000 - 80 000 °C), i 286 Å (2,5 mln °C)
