I believe that use of this image in the Wikipedia article PvP qualifies as fair use under United States copyright law for the following reasons:

• The image is irreplaceable; a free analogue is impossible to produce
• Only a small portion of a copyrighted work is used
• The image illustrates a recurring theme in the comic which is discussed in the article
• The use of this image does not compete with the copyright holders' usage
